Amanda Guthrie

Amanda Guthrie, MA, LMHCA (she/her)

Therapist

Amanda Guthrie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) who provides individual counseling under supervision. She enjoys supporting people who want to create more ease, meaning, and joy in their lives and relationships.

Amanda works with individuals with experiences of trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, those with physical, mental, and spiritual pain, and those who are discerning identity, life’s meaning, and next steps.

Amanda has training in counseling, spirituality, and yoga and uses an integrative approach designed in collaboration with those with whom she works. Amanda believes that every human being is inherently worthy and beloved but knows that that is not always easy to feel. She hopes to create a space in which you feel valued, safe, and comfortable asking for what you need.

Amanda lives with her husband and two fur babies (one cat, one dog) and likes to spend her free time reading (to learn and for fun!), playing games, singing karaoke, and gardening.

Amanda can bill Anthem/BCBS and Purdue UHCSR under her supervisors (Annette Brehm and Katherine Bolsen).
